BETAISODONA Ointment Betaisodona ointment is suitable for the initial treatment and disinfection of small, open wounds and minor burns. The active ingredient is called povidone-iodine, which belongs to the group of antiseptics and disinfectants and has a very broad spectrum of action. The ointment has a fast and long-lasting effect. Application: Apply once or several times a day to the affected area. The ointment does not burn and can also be applied on children. We recommend covering the area with a plaster or bandage, as the ointment has a reddish/brown colour and can stain clothing. The ointment should not be used if you are allergic to iodine or have thyroid problems.
